The inaugural AIS Walk was held on the 16th of December 2012. The walk commenced from Nelum Pokuna Mawatha and proceeded to Navam Mawatha. Members of the Director Board, the Principal and Heads of School lead the walk.
The procession consisted of 800+ students, teachers, alumni and parents. The Fun Fair was held from 6.00 p.m. onwards at Navam Mw. Car Park with an assortment of merry activities. The main goal of the walk was to foster a greater sense of identity and belonging as well as to raise funds towards the building of AIS’ very own auditorium
