Close behind swimming comes Basketball. Our
boys play in the under 19, under 17, under 15 and under 13 inter-international
schools championships performing very well in all categories. Basketball
coaching is available in school. Girls basketball is also performing excellently.

UNDER 15 BOYS TEAM: 2011-12 INTER-INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONS
| The Under 15 Boys team emerged the Inter International School U15 Champions in the recently concluded tournament (Sept 2011). AIS beat Lyceum Negegoda by 78-68 to win the championships. Taher Akbarally was adjudged the Best Defensive Player while AIS U15 captain Bevan Samuel was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. |
